Does it matter how much he makes to sponsor her.. if so, how much would that be ...?

Yes - it matters.

See this link (for most folks, they'll need to earn the 125% amount for their household size) https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=0B9bvTEwLyHz1MTFlZDI3Y2YtZDU3OS00YjY3LWI0YjktNGExYWQwNDU5OTZk&hl=en

so, it should be $ 18,387... for himself and my sister...?

thanks again...

It depends on the petitioner's household size and whether or not he/she has dependents (children, other immigrants previously sponsored, etc)

If it's just the petitioner in the household - he/she must make at least $18,387/year and be able to prove it with tax transcripts/returns, paystubs, letter of employment, etc etc

hey guys,

we are about to apply for a K-1 visa for my sister...but, she got rejected for a tourist visa 3 times in the past...would that effect her being approved for a k-1 visa...?

the reason she got rejected was me coming to the US on a student visa and ended up getting married....they said to my sister what if you do the same thing....by that time she just wanted to see our new born baby...that was all..

Thank you in advance for your responds,

GY...
