Aloha All. I cannot believe it. Her Birth Certificate BC - has her parents names spelling correct

But on her Cenomar wrong spelling both parents names (Yes wrong spelling both mother and fathers 1st name)

And on her Police clearance her Middle name is spelled wrong

Welcome to the wonderful world of the Philippine Government

And to make things worse - of course We have the wrong spellings her G-325a, that took 2.5 weeks to get to me. Or as Lisa would say GRRRRRRR

Anyways better to let the mistake that happend go and try again. So to the question

What are all the options for mailing and shipping from PH to Hawaii USA

Postal Mail - PH to Hawaii - 2.5 weeks

Fedex - ????

Any other ideas????

Thanks Again Dan

I dont know how do they do that (Phil. gov't specially NSO), during my AOS interview the IO told me that they've requested a copy of my birth certificate at NSO Phil., and they send a response to NVC that my birth cert was not register.. WEIRD..I told to the IO that i have no idea why they have that result, I hand it over my original BC from NSO to the IO and he said im glad you have your bc now coz this will cost a problem for your approval.. whew!

(fortunately before our interview I asked my father to get a copy of BC to NSO and send it me, so before our interview i have it on hand.

Fedex will probably charged you like 1000 peso (or higher).. and it takes 2- 3 days.

I used FedEx once and the delivery guy just gave her package to a kid in her barangay that said he knew her headbonk.gif. I only used DHL after that and never had any problems. I think the basic envelope with a few documents in it cost me $38 if I remember correctly. The problem with FedEx and UPS is they don't have their own offices/employees in the phils. FedEx will use Air21 for final delivery and UPS uses (or used to anyway) Delbros. DHL has their own people there so your package will never change hands good.gif

Form what I hear, a delivery guy just goes near to the area and starts asking around the family names, no standardized address.

But I did notice when I was there many houses had a TAX department tag nailed to the house. Go figure.

On another note here in Hawaii in my town, a few years ago, we finally had all steetsigns put in for Police and Fire safety

Precious - I forgot LBC - we will look into that too Salamat

Aloha Lane

I called LBC, and they dont have any delivery service on my island. But they will forward it to UPS.

Is that also how it is on the mainland??

Hows the LBC tracking?

Fedex tracking is working good. But yes is expensive.

I agree. Use Fed Ex. They are very good at tracking and they may cost a little more but probably this is not the time to try to save a few bucks

I wouldn't use LBC just for the reason they are very very very limited in the area they serve.
