BSP Circular 98-1995. are you saying the regulations do not exist or that it is easy to get away with?

I am saying whatever you are quoting is "wrong" "incorrect" "misprint" or a "typo"

Get real, you really believe you can't leave the Philippines with more than $200 in your possesion. :bonk::bonk::bonk:

Land in San Fran and try to get dinner for 4 people at the airport and you will spend almost that much in 1 meal........

33. What is the restriction on currency import/export for Philippine Peso notes and coins?

Any person can bring in and out of the country legal tender notes and/or coins in the amount

not to exceed P10,000.00 as provided for under BSP Circular No. 98, Series 1995. Larger

amounts require authorization from the BSP.

Just because you read it online doesn't make it true. Please don't believe anything and everything that you read.

You do understand that people who are raised in the Philippines are taught to never question authority, To do as you are told, Authority is always right.

Are you conditioned that way, It sure seems that way to me.......

Just because you keep repeating yourself doesn't make you right.

You do understand that you should just stop talking. You're wrong.

Move on to your next mistake now.

Clarification:

It is prohibited to bring in or take more than 10,000 in Philippines currency out of / into the Philippines BUT you can take more than that in foreign currency - up to $10,000 in US dollars. Any amount above the US 10K have to be declared to the Bureau of Customs.

Note; the key word is currency ~ what kind of currency.

Not more than 10K in Philippines Currency but whatever amount you want in foreign currency & if the amount is above $10K US then it MUST be declared.
