Email notification from the NVC regarding receipt of packages only occurs when doing electronic processing.

Medical and passport clearance certificate is done! Only thing left is the interview!

do we have to contact the nvc operator in order to know our aos package and ds230 have been accepted?

Our case was completed and closed on 09/15/2011 per NVC yesterday. They said they tried to schedule an interview but were unsuccessful and that they will not try again til October to schedule it. The lady told me to contact the embassy directly and try to get a sooner date scheduled. I will be doing that today!

I cannot believe we are finally done! Thanks to all who have guided me along and to the makers of all of the guides! This was super easy Time consuming... frustrating.. and a little annoying... yet easy! lol

Our case was completed and closed on 09/15/2011 per NVC yesterday. They said they tried to schedule an interview but were unsuccessful and that they will not try again til October to schedule it. The lady told me to contact the embassy directly and try to get a sooner date scheduled. I will be doing that today!

We are still waiting on our NOA 2

Congressman's office contacted California service center and was told there is a 5 month period to wait. So on September 21 the congressman's office will be back in touch to find out our status if we have not heard anything by then.

So please keep us in your prayers and inshallah we hear something this coming week.

Same thing for us. The operators up until now have all told me that we would be scheduled for an interview in October, but when I called on Friday they told me that we weren't scheduled for October and that we would have to wait until the second week of October to know if we were scheduled for November. Devastating for us!!! I just don't understand why some people for the same consulate in Mumbai have already been scheduled for interviews in November. It seems like we should at least get to know if we are going to have an interview in November. I've already emailed NVC and the VFS in Mumbai to see if we can get our date scheduled and I will be calling the Mumbai consulate directly tonight. We have already been separated for 8 months and this is getting unbearable.

Anyway, I hope you are able to get an earlier date scheduled as well. I'm praying!

Mumbai is crazy busy! More-so than I originally thought. I had a case complete of 8/23 and I got an 11/10 interview date! You also have to relaize Shanna that the next 3 months their are major holidays for both countries and the consulate has less business days to work with. I was upset at first with the date, but I am happy that I have a date. I wish you get yours soon...each day that passes now feels like a week.
