So every document in the language of the benificary's country is ok? No need for translation in English?

Oh I don't know about that. All of the other documents I needed was in English already and did not require a translation.

You want to contact your specific embassy/consulate where the interview is going to take place to get a concrete answer.

This is always Embassy/Consulate specific. In your case, I found this page from the US Embassy in Brussels that states the following:

All supporting documents which are not in English or not in one of the three official languages of Belgium (Dutch, French or German) need to be accompanied by a sworn translation in English.

I would still suggest you contact the Embassy yourself and confirm this.

I would still get them translated. You never know when you are going to need them in the future. You WILL be living in an English speaking state...

That was also part of the plan ... I am finishing everything up this week.

Still concerned about leaving gaps in time on the DS230. (see posts up!) Did you get to that kind of problem?

I'm confused, besides that we got it all figured out... also, what all did you file for you I864 - you being a student? What did you include?

Police I would say yes.

But for the medical, I believe if you do this at the places the U.S. says you have to do it, the medical reports will be in English. I also believe all the documents are in a sealed envelope anyways so opening it will cause them them become invalid.

I will be including nothing in terms of my schooling documents. I Just stated that I am a full time student and that is all. I was working the past 3 years (2008-10) But, I quit my job due the rigorous schedule of Nursing school coming up. I really don't think NVC cares what I do as long as the co-sponsor I have is above the poverty level needed for the amount of person(s) in the household.

So, I am not sending anything. If NVC wants info on my schooling they can RFE it and I would be more than happy to send an official university transcript...

Your situation is different because I believe you came to the U.S. on a foreign exchange type program? They might want proof of this, I am not sure. Just speculating here...

OK so the anxiety is killing me so I decided to take a trip to case status number town... The cases a few before mine were approved on 7/1! In additon there are a sequence of 3 approved in a row.. and then one pending... three approved, one pending. Looks like maybe the adjucator just didnt finish their last case before leaving??? Maybe?? At this point its how I am going to put a smile on my face for the next few hours lol. Dear God please let me stop stressing and send me an approval!

well i was just wondering what all my husband can include on his own I 864... He never filed taxes before, was in highschool still when we married, we have a joint sponsor that covers more than enough. So all he can include with his I 864 is army employmentletter I assume?

He should also include a letter on WHY he didn't file taxes. I have to do the same being, as a poor college student, I've never made enough to be required to file my taxes.
