I am just wondering what the police record and court/prison records are and where we get them?

Our case was forwarded to the NVC and I am trying to get everything together.

Thanks

Thanks for responding with so much info. So are the police records and court/prison records the same thing? Or 2 separate things he needs to get? And do you happen to know if there is a fee for the fingerprinting?

its just one fee hun(only if you you lived in some other country for more than 6 months and you need a set of finger print to be send to that country,to uptain a police record there also,if so,its $500)

after paying the fee at Oxford road,go down town(duke street),when you get there ask the lady at the front desk for a number(you will be playing musical chair, lol)you will be told what to do after.

its simple, just sit and wait ,go in a small room, where u hand over your pics and passport and finger printed.

YOU ARE GOING TO NEED YOUR TRN,MAKE SURE TO BRING IT

has for a court/prison records,i would not know i have a clean record, only persons that has been charge of a crime or offense will need one.
