Did I send I-129F package to wrong address?

The instructions list two addresses, one for regular mail, the other for express mail and courier service. I sent mine by regular mail, but registered/certified so it requires signing, to the regular mail address. Did I do it wrong? It is not express mail, but it did not occur to me that maybe only one of the addresses is able to sign for it. (I saw someone hint at that in some other post.)

I checked at usps.gov and there's no record of it getting there after 4 days (should take 2, 3 max). So, I'm wondering if I screwed up. If the literal interpretation of the instructions is correct, I should have been correct in what I did. But, that's one thing I don't like about gov't instructions... when to take it literally and when to figure out what they really mean.

Just checking!

Thanks

Hi, I sent certified mail to Dallas, Texas Lockbox address and it got there . As for the green card to be returned to me that took over a week. It will be there soon. If you used the email notification form you will hear from them the first of next week i'm sure.

Good Luck :)

It should be ok, registered / certified is still regular mail, I think. Maybe they were slow, with the threat of a gov shutdown looming and all?

You are probably referring to what I said in another post! I am not 100% sure that is why there are two separate addresses but just a mere possibility. I think what you did is correct because that is exactly what the instructions state. If you sent it through regular mail then no worries!!
