Name change on N-400?

]I'm hoping someone could help me about this.

I'm going to fill in the N-400 & i would like to change my first name & add a middle name. I saw N-400 have a option to do that.

Did anyone know is possible to do that & will it to be able to do that in Pittsburgh, PA office.

Yes. The oath ceremony is a court proceeding and name changes are done at that time.

I did it. I chose a new and cute first name, corrected and put my old first name in the middle (I didn't have a middle name before, I was using my maiden last name), removed my maiden last name and kept my husband's last name. Sent my applications some days ago. Good luck.

You can choose any name within reason. That means you can become a Kennedy or Rothschildt, but you cannot become a Michelle Obama or Queen Latifa or anything vulgar like Sl*tty B*tch.

I changed my name completely at the N-400 stage. The I.O. will fill out a form, print it out 3 times. You sign it with your new (!) name and return them to the I.O. One of the forms stays with the County Registrar, one with USCIS, and the third one you will find stapled to your Certificate of Naturalization.

Do not lose it, ever!
