First, just to be sure I understand the Denial: USCIS denied your Wife's I-130 Petition or an Embassy denied your CR-1 Visa Application?

There is a big difference.

i am egyptian and live in sudia arabia , and we filled in april and they send us RFE after 7 months need more prove , we send alot of stuff , my wife have been 3 times all of them in egypt when i got vacation from sudia arabia , reasons is shitty really , why we didn't have wedding whitch it's not big deal to make it when we have someone in family dead , plus they ask why my family wasn't with us when we get married like we are child and talk about my family not live far from cairo so they could go to our marriage in the minstry when we have alot of pics with family , they talking about my wife first time came spend only 1 week saying pyramids and musum and that was short , how and she came again and stayed 1 month when we get married , coz she can't lose her job , it's really stupied reasons , we have age diffrent but they never talked about it coz as we know it's unlegal , so what do u think guys ?

Can you please tell me what your age difference is? Who is older?

Thank you!

im sorry, but as i read in VJ it seems like those who hires a lawyer for their immigration process always seems to have problems. .

anyway, u need to tell us more info. I also got a denial decision 2years ago, reason was i didnt respond to the RFE (my fault). as i was told an appeal takes longer and I think costs more. So, we refiled last year and was approved. If I we're you just follow instructions at the USCIS and be thorough to avoid RFE, goodluck!

I think that it is a combination of people that use lawyers tend to have more complicated cases, hence a higher chance of denial, plus a lot of people are really bad at choosing their lawyer...they go for the cheapest option without knowing whether the lawyer knows anything about immigration or is good at what they do. Good immigration attorney's are extremely useful, although unnecessary for your average case (unless you don't have the time to learn how to do everything yourself).

it's about what we can do , coz we both confused , she think it's the right thing to re-file again from there with lawyer . but in the same time she don't want to wait apart anymore , it's hell waiting and full of stress and more computer talking and phone calls etc , we get tired of that both , but in the same time she want to work in egypt when u know setations now in egypt not help to find her a job to help each-other , just re-file from egypt not so eazy too about what we can do with money part too sure , but i got ur point

The fact that your petition was denied indicates there are some big red flags in your case. My first question based on the information you've provided would be her age and your age. Second question is what does she do for a living? The kind of RFE you received indicates there are big problems. Denial after response indicates even bigger problems.

i don't think the reasons the denied is bullshit.

they review each case individually regardless of the visa type depending on the beneficiary's home country and their traditions, its not generally usual for a bona fide middle eastern couple to not have a wedding, for their families to not be there, for the woman to be older than the man.

this doesn't mean YOU ARE committing visa fraud,it means they doubt your intentions.unfortunately you're a male from a high fraud/terrorist country set to DOHS standards, you need more proof than a VJ member from say Canada.i suggest you do more trips, spend more time together and just to prevent denials based on family grounds, get your parents and a couple of family members to write letters indicating that they are aware of your relationship and that the reason there wasn't a wedding was a death in the family, translate it and send it to your wife, just to include in the case for peace of mind.is there a religion difference?

we did it before without lawyer , and i do belive we had nothing wrong about what we sent as the lawyer belive too. but this time my wife want to re-file again with lawyer as a support not coz we don't have a time , and my Q do we have to wait few months to re-file again from there? or any time ?

You can file again from the US but you will need to understand exactly why they denied u the first time

i agree with you , that's why my wife to re-file again but this time by lawyer , not to spend money for nothing , she think he will support , so i maked this subject for ppl advice us ,

We can't help you if you ignore critical questions. What is her age? What is your age? You say you are both Muslim. How long has she been a Muslim. ALL these questions and more are relevant and without knowing the answers, people here are speculating blindly.

Please take the time to actually answer these questions. The answers may or may not prompt MORE questions but start with the ones already asked.

Super_Sadness,

It appears everyone understands your situation, you just haven't answered the questions that have been asked. I'd suggest you answer the questions that have been asked several times already, and you will get the advice you are seeking:

1. What was the RFE for? How did you respond?

2. What reasons were you given for the denial?

3. What is the age difference?

You will get the advise on how and when to refile after you answer the questions.

i already answer about the reasons of given me denial . about RFE they asked us for everything like we didn't sent them anything even marriage papers and translate where we stayed , pics , Emails , firends letters , everything from 0 and they call it more prove , it was strange coz we send them alot of things include marriage papers with translate and apartment contrat with translate and they asked again for all , and we send all again start from marriage papers till letters from firends , the age diffrent is 12 years between me and my wife , she is older than me ,
