How right is my congressman?

Hi friends!!! After 5 months and almost 3 weeks, I asked for help from my senator and congressman ( I asked for help 5 months and 1 week into the process).The person handling my case is great!!! She called last week uscis for me and today she told me I would get an answer by 12th of April. Great!!!My question have any of you tried this and gotten their answer as said or should I not get my hopes up. Thank you for reply

I would believe it because when congress/senator get involved the uscis has to give them an answer within 48 hours and there is a special section that just looks after their calls.. so you will probably have sped yours up! we just got ours done and it was done after a few days when the congress called! good luck
