So we got our London case number, and my fiance managed to snag a medical this Friday after someone cancelled. However, our case is still at the NVC and they said its in additional processing. Will it be a problem if London recieves the results of his medical before they receive his case from the NVC?

My personal opinion is that it's not an ideal situation. London has no clue who you are at this point. What are they going to do with a medical that shows up with no file associated with it? Toss it in a corner? Misplace it? Maybe or maybe not. They do set up a procedure sequence based on what makes their job more orderly and efficient. Jumping the gun too much might actually slow you down if your things get lost. It's just a thought, but why not snag an appointment the same week your case actually gets to London.

So this is how I understand it... "additional processing" can happen at any stage, including the NVC; "administrative processing" is what can happen after the interview. i think. anyways, you get a london number before it leaves the NVC, so we thought we were golden and the case would be in london within a week or two, so scheduling a medical wouldnt be an issue. ugh.

If you don't hear anything by tomorrow, reschedule the medical? Worst thing that could happen, as Nich-Nick said, is to go through the medical and all that, and have them 'lose' / misplace your results. If they don't know you yet - it won't do them much good!
