Difficult or impossible to obtain? I believe this is a non-negotiable requirement, if the document is attainable.

Others?

According to the reciprocity table found here: http://travel.state.gov/visa/reciprocity/C...audi_Arabia.htm :

Police clearances are available for Saudi citizens and resident third country nationals. Saudi citizens currently residing overseas must return in person to process the police clearance.

Police clearances are unavailable for third country nationals who no longer reside in the Kingdom.

I would check with the consulate/embassy you're going through, though. It's always best to get info from them.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

Hi,

There are some countries from which police reports simply cannot be obtained.

This link is from a consulate (may not be yours - I don't have that info up) but lists the countries that certificates are and are not available from.

http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/wwwfds...certificates%22

Now - please bear in mind that 1. this may not be from your consulate 2. the date on this document is 2005 and the information may be outdated.

I will continue to look for that info on the USCIS website or try to find the original link (I just went looking for it and this is what I came up with) but for now, I hope this helps.

Mew has outlined very clearly, that a police certificate "cannot" be obtained by you, as you are no longer a resident of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

You would benefit greatly, by contacting the Embassy applicable to your case for further guidance.

I was still checking but realized that I can give you no better information than Mew has already given. Good luck with the rest of your process.
