Good Day!

i would like to ask regarding my interview appointment. i scheduled my appointment online at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph and i downloaded and printed only one page that says immigration address confirmation sheet manila that indicates my passport no; interview date of April 13, 2011 @ 6:35am, UID no. heres my questions

1.do u think i successfully scheduled my interview appointment on the said date thru that sheet?

2. Is that the only thing i needed to present during my interview to the embassy other than the revised packet 3??

4. is the letter i got from the Embassy of the United States of America,Manila Philippines considered as my appointment letter to be presented for medical check up at st. lukes?ive read an article beofore and it says that you need to print the first two pages of the appointment letter.i only receive one page letter.is that a new procedure?

5.im confused with this DS-160 ONLINE NONIMMIGRANT VISA ELECTRONIC APPLICATION.Does it apply to my case?do i need that? i will have my medical check up next week and interview soon..i only follow the instruction from this link http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/19452/public/Revised%20K1%20Instruction%20Packet%20_3__rtf2_001.pdf coz i was applying for the K1 visa?is revised packet 3 the only thing i need to bring for my interview at the embassy? am i right?

hoping to hear from you soon..thanks in advance

Hi just want to share my experience with you. To answer your questions

1. They only need the first page, don't worry about the second page.

2.on the day of your interview you will present your interview appointment plus your packet 3.

3.yes you need the letter (1 page) from the US embassy to be able to have your medical exam

4. yes you need the DS160 on your interview date plus your packet 3.

Good luck Kabayan. I had my interview September last year.

The DS-160 is NOT used in Manila. DS Forms used in Manila are DS-156 two copies, DS-157 two copies and DS-156K one copy.

the K-1 interview preparations instructions from the Embassy website.

I just want to add. The DS-160 confirmation( with your photo attached and confirmation number (Barcode) is needed. I am not sure(during the interview or medical). I am positive about it as I went through on my files again.

Did you pay your fee at BDO already? I think they need the DS160 confirmation with barcode.

 the DS-160 is not required for either the medical or interview. you may have completed it, but it is not needed. the DS-156 also has a barcode.

best of luck with your AOS.

1.do u think i successfully scheduled my interview appointment on the said date thru that sheet? Yes, it sounds like you are scheduled just fine.

2. Is that the only thing i needed to present during my interview to the embassy other than the revised packet 3?? You will need DS156, DS156K, DS157, I-134 (with original signature, some say use blue ink to prove it)... basically, you need ALL items in the link you provided to photos.state....

4. is the letter i got from the Embassy of the United States of America,Manila Philippines considered as my appointment letter to be presented for medical check up at st. lukes?ive read an article beofore and it says that you need to print the first two pages of the appointment letter.i only receive one page letter.is that a new procedure? Yes, this letter will work. Many don't receive this letter, in that case, knowing your MNL # is necessary. In our case, my fiancee will print the email showing our MNL #, as well as NOA2, and together, should get her in, no problem.

5.im confused with this DS-160 ONLINE NONIMMIGRANT VISA ELECTRONIC APPLICATION.Does it apply to my case?do i need that? i will have my medical check up next week and interview soon..i only follow the instruction from this link http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/19452/public/Revised%20K1%20Instruction%20Packet%20_3__rtf2_001.pdf coz i was applying for the K1 visa?is revised packet 3 the only thing i need to bring for my interview at the embassy? am i right? Yes, follow these instructions. Bring ALL items listed here. Some emails showing contact, the DS forms, etc. Everything they ask for. Pay attention to 2.j. & 2.k. You DON'T need a letter if intent to marry for these, but some will tell you that you do. Just follow the instructions in the PDF EXACTLY, and you should be fine. DS160 is NOT used for K1 visa in PI. I know it is confusing, I thought it was, but it is not. Also, a couple of recent photos will suffice. Some bring photo ALBUMS, but that is not necessary. Some COs never even look at the pics

hoping to hear from you soon..thanks in advance GOOD LUCK!!!
