hi guys, well, I was wondering because they sent me to submit an extra evidence showing that I`m an american citizen, I filled an I-130 form to california immigration center,5 months ago, and now they want me to proove that I`m an american citizen!!!!! is that a bad sign or a good one???? and also, will it take other several months of them to take a decision?? I thaught that they approve or disaprove it in five month!!! and, now, in the fifth one, they are asking for more evidences !!!! thank you for help, guys, and I wish you all the best and good luck !!!!

To me it means they're just getting around to processing it.........a good sign. Did you remember to include a birth certificate and biographic data from your passport?

What evidence of citizenship did you send with the original package? Passport bio page, birth certificate, naturalization certificate?

11/15/10: NSO Marriage and Birth Certificates available for pick-up at NSO

11/17/10: Receipt Date of I-130 petition at Chicago Lockbox

11/19/10: NSO Marriage Cert and Birth Cert (4x each) received by Gina in Philippines

11/19/10: CRBA package couriered to US Embassy in Manila

11/22/10: CRBA package/application including NSO BC & MC received by embassy

11/22/10: NOA1 Date

11/24/10: Electronic notification of receipt received from Chicago Lockbox

11/24/10: Embassy scheduled CRBA appointment for 12/21/2010

11/26/20: Check cashed

11/27/10: NOA1 Hardcopy received via USPS

12/21/10: Interview/Personal appearance at Manila Embassy for CRBA **approved**

01/03/11: CRBA and US Passport for daughter received by Gina via FEDEX

Did you send in your US birth cert or copy of your US passport with the original app? You were supposed to. I don't think it is a good or bad sign- good I suppose, as it means they are definitely working on the case. 5 months is an average, many take longer.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
