Does anyone know why Vermont is once again, way, way behind California? Reminds me of when we were going for our CR-1!

California is nearly through with December and there are only a couple of approvals from VT for then... :crying:

Oh boy...I don't want to hear that!!! We will be filing at the beginning of April for the I-751. For our CR-1 we filed at VSC then got transferred to CSC after 3 months and then approval came pretty quickly after that. I hope we are approved before our trip to Jordan in September...6 months away. :innocent:

I was wondering about the same thing. I see most of the CSC filers got their NOA1 in few days, where as for VSC filers, it is taking over 3 weeks or more. I am still waiting for my NOA1 and I had mine mailed on the 11th of this month.

There are plenty of December filers at the California office who are waiting for our NOA2, since most of us are ONLY in the 3rd month of USCIS's 5 month waiting time frame we keep busy with a very fun active thread.

Looking at the processing time and the graph on the uscis site, I noticed that Vermont production started dropping off in September 2010, and was really bad in December perhaps because of the weather but picked up again in January. California dropped off too, but not as much as Vermont, but California is much faster in picking up the slack than Vermont. I can only conclude that it is not budget cut, but just some slow people at Vermont, hopefully they will get off the train and get on the plane.
