putting my DS-230 in the mail today to send off to my Husband (he has my photos and I read somewhere its better if it is sent to NVC from the US as you can track it easier).

My question is whether I should staple everything together, or just put it in order per the list on my cover letter?

07/07/2010 - Re-submitted pkg - Denied, same information incorrect or missing - pulling our hair out!
08/30/2010 - Re-submitted pkg AGAIN! this time tried a new answer on two questions.

09/08/2010 - NOA-1 sent

7/2/10- NOA1

2/9/11- NOA2 (transferred to Texas)

NVC

2/28/11- case number received

3/2/11- Paid AOS bill

3/5/11- Paid IV bill

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!

If you decide to send hard copy, do not staple anything--they disassemble the entire package and scan it, and then reorder it the way they want to see it after the scan is complete.

Im not really sure how, and I think we are too far into it... Also I dont have access to a scanner to scan all my documents. I dont mind mailing it in to be honest.

We actually sent the 230 from my wife's hometown in the Philippines via DHL. Tracking was the same as if I had sent it. Make sure you put the NVC case number at the top of each page!

I put it on all my documents, but not on the actual DS-230. Should I have my Hubby write it on the actual DS-230 as well?

Yes, probably wouldn't hurt anything. We did just in case. On valuable docs we used pencil. Include a duplicate copy of the entire packet so they will give you the originals back at the interview.

NVC case number on all the documents you can. If they're original documents, put a sticky note with the NVC # on it. Order your package as your cover letter lists them, use a big clip to put the package together (no staples). Good luck!
