So we're coming up on RC soon, and I'm a little confused about one thing: since filing our K1 via CSC, we've moved into an area covered by a different service center. Should we be filing through our original service center, or the center covering our current geographical area? Apologies in advance if it's covered in a FAQ, I've been reading up but didn't see this question answered.

The current state you live in determines to which service center you file. It is not the original service center.

Instructions can be found on the USCIS website as to where to file, they can also be found in the instructions for ROC.

Where to File :

Applicants must file Form I-751 at the USCIS California Service Center or the USCIS Vermont Service Center, depending on where they live.

If you live in Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming, file with the California Service Center at:

Thanks Markie and Inky, I feel a little foolish for asking the question now because it really does seem so obvious. But I figured better to ask the "stupid" question before, rather than sending my packet off to the wrong place later. Thanks again! :)
