I want to know how long does administrative processing on k1 visa takes after 60 days of the original interview date? Because my case is getting to 4 months now. , advice...

Can take anywhere from a month to years. Some people seem to top off around 6 months and get an answer.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

High fraud countries, which you are from, always go through extra scrutiny. This should have been known to you.

The last e mail I got from embassy was "we apologize for the delay refrain from sending e mail as soon as we have finished administrative processing will contact you and schedule an appointment" my fiance is really pissed and myself please advice on what to do ..

Nothing really to do about it, you just need to wait until they are finished the AP.

There is nothing you can do but call DOS to check on the status of the case. AP takes however long it takes and no one can speed it up. Hang in there and hope for the best. Maybe you can use this time to get your house in order for the new arrival, make some plans for places to visit, etc.

If i were u i would call DOS bcuz one member today from Naija posted that they did not receive an email they called DOS and was told that the visas had been issued..... Good luck :thumbs: welcome to vj

Feb. 14, 2011 received hard copy of NOA for AOS, EAD& AP

Feb. 18, 2011 received appt letter for biometrics

Hello there! The young man/woman posted to VJ members requesting for an advice. Instead of you to tell him what you know about AP, that is, how long you think one could be in AP, the chances of getting approved, etc., you are there talking about high fraud countries. Let me ask you this, Are Russians more better than Nigerians. Please stop posting irrelevant things if you have nothing, I mean nothing to say. Thank you

Hello In God I Know! I have read your post. It is quite unfortunate that people who are truely sincere in their relationship go through delays sometimes. Anyways, let me be sincere to you, AP does not have a specific time frame before it is completed. Just keep faith in God and very soon, I mean very very soon, good news is coming to you. Listen.....yes Russians are better than Nigerians but I have nothing against Nigerians.

Nigeria is on the known high visa fraud countries list. It is. Look it up. Those always always go through intense scrutiny and extra AP. It's a fact. I was only stating the facts. If you don't know if your country is on the list, or know about country-sepcific requirements....then shame on you since all that informatino is available on the respective VJ regional forum.
