Apparently it was a bio letter kind of day! Dennis got his biometrics letter today, too. We will definitely be attempting a walk in, we've done it successfully at this office before. When we were waiting for his AOS Dennis walked in just to make sure it was the correct location (it was walking distance from our apartment at the time) and they said "Well, since you're here let's just do it now!" Dennis is currently out of work (he was laid off just over a week ago), but is looking hard and has already had a couple of interviews. He's going to try to walk in now so that he doesn't have to ask for time off if he gets a job before the appointment.

Hello All!

Those 2 years went by soo fast! I guess time flies by when you're having fun, right?

Well, I sent my I-751 packet last 04/09/11 to VSC. Unfortunately, I haven't got a single notice yet.

Is this normal? I am a worry freak. I've been screwed by the system eversince I started my visa journey.

Here's my dilemma:

I received a 10-yr GC instead of a 2-yr GC.

I had no idea that I got a wrong GC until the renewal date was up..(my attorney before reminded me that I need to lift conditions 90 days prior to my 2nd year anniversary of arrival to the US)

I ended up getting an Infopass appointment in Philly last 04/04/11 since the customer rep lady told me that if I got a 10-yr GC that it is possible I got approved without an interview which definitely threw me off.

Well, I went with my guts and scheduled an Infopass appointment instead. And the IO told me that I should just go ahead and submit my I-751.

Anybody has the same case like mine? Any advices? I'm really getting worried.. I seriously don't wanna be escorted out by DHS officers at the hospital!! LOL

They receive my package on Thursday at 9:27am and they did not cash my check yet. I am starting to panic a little, but I have plenty of time until 6/30 when my GC expires. :wacko: :wacko: :wacko:

California filers are so lucky, it looks like people who filed after me in CSC have already received their Biometrics appointment.
