just wondering in which jungles ths animal NOA2 lives so we can catch it....

on a more serious note this thread is for people who are over or nearly over, like me, 6 months mark in their wait for NOA2.

While I am very happy for fellows slowly receiving their approvals I can not forgive USCIS keeping doing what they doing...

I know its probably way too early to lose hope since there is NVC after and embassy, but after all options used what else?????? how to make them move???

This week will be 6 months for us. We're currently waiting on responses from senators, a congressman and the Ombudsman, who we will be faxing our privacy release forms to as requested tomorrow morning. We'll see how it goes. I don't know how much it matters, but I have been keeping an eye on our 'batch' and 3 were approved last week, 1 was withdrawn a couple weeks ago and the last 8 of us are still waiting (and yes, I am aware that there are more people with my NOA1 than in that specific batch).

I'm with you. 6 months and 6 days. Just mailed 4 letters (2 senators, one congressman, and the ombudsman) yesterday. I am starting to get worried because I know for a fact my case has been sitting with an adjudicator for over a month, and that's not supposed to happen. So, I'm officially worried it's something bigger, like some random security flag. In any case, I'll be making my round of calls again tomorrow...Stay strong September people!

What is Ombudsman?

http://www.dhs.gov/xabout/structure/gc_1221837986181.shtm

"How Can the Ombudsman Help?

If you have tried these regular USCIS avenues and have not received the information you seek, please submit DHS Form 7001 to the Ombudsman. We will look into your case and review how we may be of assistance.

If you have a comment about the NCSC or the above USCIS customer service process, please send the Ombudsman an email at cisombudsman@dhs.gov. Please note that the Ombudsman can request that USCIS review an NCSC call to further understand your inquiry, if you called the NCSC within the last 90 days. It is also helpful to have the date and time of the call, the phone number you used to make the call, as well as the ID number of the customer service representative or the officer’s name with whom you spoke.

For all other inquiries, please submit DHS Form 7001 to our office.

For the Ombudsman’s review of the NCSC process, read the 2007, 2008, and 2009 Annual Reports, available at www.dhs.gov/cisombudsman "

There is also good info on calling USCIS on that same page.

Hey Kayla, may I ask what you mean by 'batch'. Do you check it by changing the digits in EAC number?

Hey I really hope this works for you. Have you heard any response yet? And how can you check on your "batch"? This is something I'd like to try. I really hope that we all get our NOA2 soon.
