I had my interview in Montreal on March 1st and passed :) ( cr-1 ) I gave the woman my express post envelope and was told it would be mailed to me, I'm staying in a hotel here in Montreal and as of today the 10th I have not received my passport back in the mail.. after many calls and emails I was told my Visa was printed and sent out March 7th and was told to go to Canada.usvisa-info.com when I did there was a reference number for dhl shipping.. but when I enter my reference number it comes up as nothing found.... my question is how can I track where my passport is and how long have others waited for their passports to be present at dhl location? it's been 10 day's and I am starting to panic... I don't know how much longer I can afford to be staying at a hotel here in Montreal aslo...

DHL only shows that the package is there to be picked up once it reaches the location. You cant really track where it is at.

Why did you provide an express post envelope? they now use DHL only to mail it. Did you select a DHL location to pick up your package at? if so they wouldn't have used your express post envelope because thats for Canada Post not DHL.

You could be waiting a fair amount of time, even tho DHL is supposed to be faster, from many posts on VJ it has not been that fast for most people who have been waiting.

I received mine 3 days after my interview. I did go through DHL and I checked status last night and it said it was in Dorval. DHL called me at 8:30 this morning to tell me I had a package to pick up at my city's location.

Sorry you are waiting a longer time, maybe it's due to registering for DHL late. Did you select the location for pick up to be Montreal?

You can enter the reference number on www.DHL.ca, and if no record then it hasn't shipped yet.

We don't post on here that much at all, but wanted to let everyone know that my wife's VISA was delivered this morning to the DHL office she chose. Her interview in Montreal was on Wednesday. Montreal seems to be slow at everything except when you are at the consulate for the interview (25 minutes total) and shipping the passport/VISA back (one day)!

Good luck to everyone waiting!

We put a review up in the review section on our experience...and sorry, it is kind of long.

Thanks! You too! I see you are in the Ontario area and yours came quickly as well. We are on the Vancouver side of Canada (wife) and Washington State for myself. So, I was very surprised when I checked today to see it already there. It almost beat us back with the nasty weather we had leaving Montreal Wednesday night!

I couldn't believe it came so fast...I was preparing for a week wait, hence making my POE date for 2 weeks later. Had I known it would have taken 2 days, I would have planned my POE for this weekend. However, it's nice not to have to rush to pack everything.

We had very nasty weather for our interview day (monday), but likely stayed in Montreal til Tuesday and had a nice weather for our drive home.

I had my interview on april 29th, I was approved, but ever since i check the CEAC site a few times a day and nothing has changed, its still says ready and last update of april 29th, any idea how long or what i can do to find out more info, a number to call and should i be e-mailing them or calling them daily, or sadly have to wait every day and grow frustrated waiting for a change, We want to be together and be married by the next week was our plan, because I read everywhere that K-1 visa in Montreal were processed and couriered within days of approval.

I am growing so frustrated , Go thru all these hoops, Two expense road trips to montreal for medical and interview do every thing they ask get approved and then made to wait for an unknow reason GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
