I am about to file my I 129F and I don't know if I have enough proof of ongoing relationship. I have boarding passes from 2009, itineraries from nov 2010 and christmas/new year2011, some skype transcripts from aug 2010 and dec 2010, I have text messages, proof we opened joint checking acct over new years, a card from his mom congratulating us on engagement, an invoice from the wedding gown I just ordered, is that good enough? I am freaking out! I really would appreciate any help/tips any of you can give, thanks so much!

Looks good - that's roughly what I sent along in ours.

I included pictures, too, but I realise those are secondary...

That's fine, don't stress you have plenty of time to do that LOL To be specific the 129f petition only requires evidence that you have met in the last 2 years. All the other stuff like your gown receipt and so on will be needed for interview stage.

But you have your boarding passes. check: itineraries are not real solid as anyone can have an itinerary and never go on the trip if you get my drift. Skype check: text messages check: engagement card check: joint account not really needed till AOS but ok and pics of you together? date them on the back and where they were taken about 5-6. You have enough for petition no worries and a letter of intent from you both . Sweet :thumbs:

Divorced !st November 2012.

Check your boarding passes and see if they have the year on them. Some airlines don't print the year. Photocopy your passport stamps to prove that you were there just to be on the safe side. We also had my mom and one of our friends (US Citizen) write a letter. My mom's stated that we are indeed engaged and she approved of the relationship and our friend wrote about how we met through work and were engaged. We had them get the letters notorized as well. Make sure to add pictures. Save the card and the wedding dress receipt for the interview for proof of on ongoing relationship. You just need to prove that you have met in the past two years for the NOA2 :) Good Luck!

K so I think I have it now - I have my passports with 4 stamps ranging from August 2009 - October 2010, (only could find) 2 boarding passes and luggage receipts, 1 boarding pass for my fiance, various pictures of us both in Canada and the US some of just us some with our kids, text message logs, some skype logs, some emails. I think that should pretty much do it for establishing that we have met. Ok, deep breath, I think I can mail her off today!!! Wish me luck!
