Mar 28th 2011 - I-129F posted.

Mar 31st 11 - Delivered.

Apr 5th 11 - NOA1 (email).

Apr 8th 11 - NOA1 hardcopy received - dated 4/4/11

June 24th 11 - NOA2 hardcopy received - dated 20/6/11

July 19th 11 - Case number given

Aug 5th 11 - Packet 3 letter received

Aug 13th 11 - Police certificate received

Aug 15th 11 - Medical booked for 22 Aug @ 9.50am

Aug 16th 11 - Packet 3 returned & Visa fee paid

Aug 22nd 11 - Medical complete

Oct 7th - Interview - Approved =)

Nov 14th - POE Chicago

Jan 8th 2012 - Wedding ♥

Mar 24th 2012 - Package posted to Chicago PO Box

Got our NOA2 yesterday too, after only 80 days!

Super speedy! Just hope the embassy doesn't mind waiting a little while since I'm currently in the US till July 20 lol ;/

At least I can get paperwork off my fiance to take back to Australia with me~

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

I had an emotional missing him day so when I called I was already on the verge of tears and when he told me I couldn't talk for crying. Braided your hair with tissues so you have some handy :)

I knew mine had to be close. About a month ago, I went to my account on the USCIS website and in my portfolio I started putting in receipt numbers that were before and after mine. My receipt number ended in 70 so I just put in my number and with it ending in 69 and if this was a K1 petition I added it to my portfolio. Then I did it for 68 and the rest of them until I had about 15 before mine. And then I did it in reverse and did the ones after mine. Last week a few of then ones before mine got approved and then this week one before and a couple after got approved. So I know mine had to be close. I figures at that point it was just sitting on someones desk waiting to be gone through.

So happy to be on to the next steps. Working on the relationship evidence now. There are lots of emails to go through.

Hmm this is interesting, and smart on your part lol. So yours ended in 70 and you were recently approved. Well my receipt number ends with 81... hopefully that means VERY SOON! Congrats btw (Matt)

The initial touch right after NOA1 is pretty common, its like they just entered them into the system. It happens so quick that most people don't even realize if it was a touch or not for instance I didn't check my status for 2 weeks or so at the beginning, my last updates date says 3/11 while on the actual status notice it says they recieved it on 3/7. So I think the initial touch is very common and most people don't even realize it was a touch. But more than likely it was just the initial scan into the system.

There can be another touch which may mean something, thats when you get close to getting approved but that ones a little more scary cause its probably the moment of truth when you either get the NOA2 or get your RFE which delays your NOA2.

Just my interpretation from my prior and current I-129F filing.

oh wow congratulation, maybe i just start requesting my tax transcripts and asking my job for employment letter...This is getting exciting oo, i hope to get a good news soon..I'm planningo n calling USCIS latest july 14th..lol..

NOA1-Hardcopy recieved March 18th

NOA2 August 12th

Waiting for NVC to assign case number!..

Received NOA 2 on 6/20/11 from VSC file date was 3/2/11. I'm so happy that all of us early march VSC filets have started to receive our NOA 2's. I was surprised by my NOA 2 in less than 4 months because my petition was not available in the online system. I called just 2 weeks ago and they told me to give it 2 to 4 months longer. Good luck to everyone on their pending interviews! :)
