Ugh! Nothing from NVC yet (Monday). I've never been anxious like this when I was still waiting for our NOA2, but this case number from NVC made me. Could you believe it? August are the only available slots for the interview. Gosh! The last time I heard was July. Now, August? Are you kidding me? Dang!:(:o

Thanks for the information Looky, that sure helps the load a little easier to bear knowing I don't need to worry about the I-134 date. :)

Need to keep my composure and look on a brigther side. Life is awesome and we are blessed, indeed (L) (L) (L)

Yeah the NVC stage is a little more nerve racking then people realize. Cause its like you battling with a phone constantly trying to get hold of somebody or avoiding the busy signal :bonk: . Then human and the machine recordings just tell you to wait! They don't even have a Case Status page that you can log onto every minute! I bet you are already missing that case status page Kish?

My fiance left last night :-( I hate airports. So much. I used to love them, I used to associate them with adventure and travel and excitement and new experiences, but now I just associate them with pain and loss and hysterical crying. I managed to keep it together this time, only crying when he told me he loved me and that he couldn't wait to marry me and that he promises to always cook sweet potato for me :-) The first time we parted when I left America I was crying so hysterically that the airline staff asked me if I would like a wheel chair :-( Not my finest moment. He told me he's try to get back here as soon as possible, but I know that's unlikely to happen. He has responsibilities and he's starting a new job in September, one he worked really, really hard for, and I don't want him to jeopardize it, plus we have to save up money *sigh* Unfortunately all the practical thinking in the world can't stop that sinking feeling in my stomach when I realise I probably wont see him til I got over to America to get married :-(

you just have to be strong hun! you're not alone in this journey, I understand the way you feel right now, 'cause it happened to me three months ago, and I still miss him like crazy everyday. I just try to keep a positive attitude, it's like every day that passes by is one day closer to THAT moment, when he will be expecting me at the airport to spent the rest of our lives together, when I think of that makes me feel better and it makes all this sad moments worth it! This will be a great story to tell some day to our children

Wishing you the best! just remember each day that passes by is a day closer to be with the love of your life and you'll feel better

Hi March Filers,

I filed I129F on March 16. Our petition was approved May 31 (CSC) . So now we wait for the NVC # and for the pkg to be forwarded to the Guangzhou consulate. What a relief that it has been approved. We are thinking that an Oct 10 interview date would be perfect since I (petitioner) was unemployed 2009, 2010 and until April 5, 2011. Even though my income is over 30K for 2009 and 2010 I think it is best to wait until I have been re-employed for six months before the interview. Thoughts/comments?

I think one reason we were approved fast is because we have a K-2 age out issue and I wrote "Potential K-2 age out" on the petiion in a couple prominent places.

Best of luck to all of you  it'll happen...

I know how you feel. It ain't easy to be away with our loved ones, plus having to go through this very long process that will test your patience and love for each other. The last time I've seen my man was February. When he left, he also took my heart away. I was so lonely and I've been crying for days to weeks. There are times that Its just so hard to bear, the pain of being away with him. I suggest you look for a hobby which can ease your mind and not to think about him much. Enjoy and have fun with your family and friends cos once you move, you'll miss them for sure. Hang in there, you two will be back in each others arms again. :)

Not sure if you need to register in Hawaii to get married but for sure Las Vegas. We'll just do something simple in NJ, neither of us want anything big or fancy.

hahaha! correct! but anyways, hi to you to! I've been busy working. :)) I need to busy myself before I loose all my sanity waiting for NOA2. I'm so envious w/ March filers who already have their NOA2..=)) but I'm happy for them. I know our time will come. But dude, I feel like before that time comes, already loosen some of my screws in my brain. :))

We don't like anything big as well since most likely it will be just the 2 of us , but I want it to be memorable. If I'm not allow to travel to Hawaii to get marry there, then maybe Las Vegas or just in KY, where my fiance currently residing. :) Well, it doesn't really matter, you know but as a girl, I still dreaming of a very romantic, very memorable wedding...;)):P

Hi TJ, I don't know why you wouldn't be allowed to travel to Hawaii, I mean it is part of the US. I'm sure my fiance would love to go to Hawaii but all my immediate family are around NJ/PA and there are so many things I would like to show her that I don't know if a trip to Hawaii would be worth the expense, at least for the first couple years.

Heard your fiances parents wanted him to marry someone from Thailand. Actually its fortunate for me that I have avoided that kind of thing from the beginning. I was born in India but have been in the US since I was 4. From the first time my parents suggested searching for some woman for me in India, I told them straight off, NO WAY if I am ever going to get married, I am going to meet her on my own. So they had to give up on that notion a long long time ago! B-)

As per a friend, I need a US passport for domestic flight. So I presumed I cannot fly domestically til I get one. Good for both of u, ur family will be there on ur wedding day. and it's awesome they accepted ur girl. How I wish, his family will be on our wedding too but yeah, his family wanted him to marry someone from Vietnam and he was being disowned when he refused to do so. Actually, he told them the same, he told them that if he is going to marry, it is to the person he loves but his family are not as open as urs. They've been to US for 36years now but they still are very much into their traditions. Oh I don't know, maybe they just simply don't like me because I'm a Filipino. Sad but we can't do anything about it. My fiance said, just move on and as soon as I get there, we gonna start to build our own family, but I told him it would be nice if both our family accept our relationship. oh man, drama again! :))....

I wish right now, NOA2 before his 3mos vacation here in PI. He will fly on September 30. So if we will get our NOA2 by July/August, he will be here on my interview. So please VSC, start to approve March filers...[-o<
