Wendy,

I hate to rain on your parade, but I just talked to the NVC and was told that we cannot have our cases sent to another country's embassy unless the beneficiary is in that country with residency. I am so sick of all this run around we are getting from these agencies, they post things like they did saying we could make the request only to be told its a no go. Really I am just so sick of this!

I spoke to NVC this morning, they said that I can request it. As long as my husband has a visa for the country I am requesting to be transfered. Ahmed hold a Schegan Visa, most European Countries so we have any choice of country and holds a visa Honduras (my native country)also. Was told to send an email, his Schegan visa copy and his information. Then to wait for a response.

Worth a try.

Yes it is worth a try for sure, really I wish you and Ahmed the best! I will be watching to see what is the end result. I was just talking to my mom about this latest move by the embassy/nvc and really I am at the point of real frustration, to put it politely!
