hello all,

if your fiance from cambodia arrives in usa in december 2006, is there any possible way that she could go back to cambodia in may 2007 for a sisters wedding? i thought i had read something on this site about either being able to fast track her status at a certain cost and by way of a certain application, or by getting some sort of 1 trip exemption out of the us and then back in.

am i crazy? or is it possible for her to travel back to her home and then return?

SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION - after my wife made it to the USA, family emergency neccesatated her immediate return to her home in cambodia. unfortunately before she was able to adjust her status, thus the case was abandanded. we now are filing both k-3 (married in usa) and have petioned both i-129f and 1-130 .....so, our "journey" has once again began. thank you for all your help and understanding - appleegg and sreyon.

she needs to apply for Advance Parole when she arrives in the US... I am not sure when exactly she is able to do this, someone else might know for sure

Advance Parole will allow her to enter back into the US , if she goes to the wedding...

You can file I-131 for Advance Parlole along with your I-485 for AOS. The I-131 is normally completed in 60-90 days. The sooner you get married and get your AOS application submitted with the I-131, the better your chances are of having the Advance Parole documents in time.
