I ended up takng our photos off too.

I don't know the story or what happened to whom.

I would like to know though.

How sad just the same.

sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.

I've been wondering the same thing about pictures on VJ. Why not so many? Thanks for the info.

I, however, agree with this statement quoted. There's nothing in my pics that can be used to hurt me. What can someone do, make fun of my big nose? Feel free to look at my pics. I have nothing to hide. I think that pictures are good way for others to get a feeling of who you are. If they don't like me, oh well.

I cant imagine how this woman feels being posted on youtube after her trip to Tunisia

painful to watch

If you never want to be ridiculed, it's best to stay inside where no one can ever see you, like some kind of agoraphobe.

Or make sure no one has a camera phone. Or a youtube account.

Every day people make judgements about how you look, what you wear, who you are with. You cant go living life as if no one is going to do that bcz its going to happen. However you do you have to careful for putting too much personal info out there for people. What city you live in or work in specifically. Your phone number or just too much of anything. This day and age almost everyone young and old has camera phones or knows how to put things online so just make sure that if is something seen in a background of someone elses vacation or just put out in the public against you that you didnt give toooo much away.

It's the same video. Is it legal for someone to post videos of someone else online? I wouldn't think so. But then I guess if you're posting it from Tunisia, who cares, right? It's not like they're going to get in trouble or anything.

And it's not just the outside bloggers you have to beware of. I think quite a few of us remember a certain VJ member who lifted photos from an unpopular MENA member's profile, then re-posted them on this very forum later on (months after the MENA member had removed them) in an attempt to harrass her.......... BTW the "perp" was neither banned from VJ nor from this forum, but instead was actually elevated to MENA moderator by the site owner. So ladies & gents, be very careful what you reveal here.

Who gives a damn? Really. There was so much gross and abnormal sh!t, petty gossip and venom posted on this board around that time that hardly anyone who was there then has clean enough hands to credibly point fingers at others, including you.

You know I have been thinking about this thread a lot today. Especially since watching the video. It really makes me wonder the people who question ALL Mena relationships, of course it would be be dumb to think that fraud does not happen in a lot of countries but seriously this is my question what part of the USA do the people who are so critical live in? I am a big girl.. ok but I think I am pretty, and my fiance' is Moroccan so he is a beautiful Arabian man.. But my entire life from a teenager up the majority of men that have thought I was beautiful were men of color. yeah for real, Maybe its just an east coast thing but for some reason dem boys think our junk in the trunk is beautiful!! LIKE tonight, I made a sale and after the sale, the guy texts me back and is like You are a very attractive woman , dude for real I have been up all day and night with a sick kid, havent had a shower since yesterday morning ( i am not ashamed, I am a mom) I have been crying from exhaustion, hair is a hot mess... you get the idea, and he still found me pretty,. oh and guessss what he was a darkskinned man :) JUS SAYIN :) This is nothing new in the USA , us big girls need love too :)Againn, maybe its just over here in the East :) LOL I am just and blessed that my love is an arabian because he has a certain charm, moral standard, and level of respect I just have never seen before. :) MAGHREBIA!!! :D

ok Peace and Blessings, Love to you all,

Sarasusan

But are they moderators, pretending to be fair and balanced? I don't think so.
