Embassy not yet received case

Probably thinking too much into this but our case left NVC Feb. 9 and the embassy in Lagos has not received it yet. I've look at past timelines and most of them only took a few days to a week to arrive. Should I be concerned? I have been calling DOS and they have no record except when it left NVC. I also emailed the embassy and have not received a response (just their auto response) from them. However, I do see that others from Nigeria who were approved around the same time as me have either not heard about their case also or have not updated their timeline. Anyone else having the same issues? When should I be concerned? Thanks.

Have you tried tracking the package ? Have you called NVC to see if they can tell you if the package was received. It is hard to believe it hasn't gotten there yet.

How do you track the package?

Yes, I have asked if it was received and they only tell me what they have on record, which is it left Feb. 9.

When was the last time u called DOS? I cant believe it is not there yet........

I called yesterday Monday.

Congrats on making it this far. There is a good chance the mail has made it to Lagos already ...just not been accounted for yet. Try getting the tracking number to confirm delivery status.

That is what I am thinking. But where do I get a tracking number?

Thanks everyone for their replies.

Log on to dhl tracking http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackRef

and enter EXP 08 FEB 2011A. Since NVC sent your package on the 9th they call DHL a day before to schedule pick up for the following day.

A package was sent to Lagos Nigeria with this tracking # 9294830403 and was delivered on Feb 14.

They have your package but have not scheduled an interview yet.

Citizenship next step!

You are not alone. We are also waiting to hear from the embassy too. Our case left on the 8th of Feb. I've emailed the embassy 4 times and all i got was the automated response. I'm tired of calling DOS too since i've been getting the same answer. I tried calling the embassy a couple of times from the US and the stupid (excuse my french) receptionist always had to put me on hold for half hour each time. I haven't been able to speak to anyone. All I heard was the television at the background after the "hello", "hold on" I had to hang up each time. This whole thing is sucks.

08/19/2010 - K1 mailed

08/23/2010 - K1 NOA1

10/03/2010 - Touched

02/02/2011 - NOA2
