question about the co-sponsor

My co-sponsor has just about got the paperwork together for the interview, assuming it will happen someday soon. :clock: ...but I guess I have to get that NOA2 first.

But he said it would take some time, a month or two, for him to get an employer letter on letterhead stationery (he works for the government ). He does have paycheck stubs for the last few months, and he's had the same job for years. Should I tell him to go ahead and try to get the employer letter, or will the paycheck stubs be enough? He definitely makes enough income.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for things the co-sponsor should submit? I've got I-134 form, 2005 tax return, paycheck stubs, bank statement.

Thanks!

NOA1: April 6, 2006

I wrote my own letter on Gov't letter head and had my boss sign it and I have not had a problem thus far.
