WOW...!!! 60 Days my butt.... it took 2.

We got the approval letter on Thursday and the card arrived on Saturday!!!!

07/29/07 ---- Mailed I-129F

08/25/07 --- Check finally cashed (8/27 I should be able to see the R number on the back).

08/27/07 --- NOA1 Arrives from CSC and I create my account profile on the USCIS.Gov web-site (the clock starts)!!!

02/05/08 --- After 191 days NOA2 (Approval) comes at last!!!!

2/14/08 --- NVC sends letter saying that it's on the way to the US Embassy in Bangkok

2/25/08 --- She receives Packet 3 from the Embassy

3/29/08 --- She receives Packet 4 with interview date (July 11th).

3/30/08 --- I e-mail the Embassy asking to make the date earlier because I've already got our tickets for June 13th!!!

5/6/08 --- No help from the Embassy. Rebooked tickets and vacation till September.

5/21/08 --- Embassy calls her and moves interview to May 27th!!!!! You have got to be kidding me!!!

9/21/08 --- POE San Francisco!!!!

12/8/08 --- Married!!!!

12/15/08 --- Mail AOS + AP + EAD package to Chicago

12/28/08 --- Come back from vacation and find AOS/AP/EAD NOA 1 and Bio App notices in the mailbox!!!

1/13/09 --- Bio Appt

4/22/09 --- AOS Interview "APPROVED"!!!

3/04/2011 --- OUR BABY IS BORN... We have a son!!!!!

3/10/2011 --- Mail I-751 application to lift conditions on residency

Hi there fellow March filers -

I noticed on the Case Status Updates for the I-130 petition in our Portfolio on the USCIS website that the file was touched in September last year, 15 months after my husband arrived in the U.S. That seems odd and I'm wondering why. Did anyone else notice that their I-130 case status was updated/touched so long after their spouse's arrival? Just curious.

Actually you're one of the few lucky one who isn't affected by USCIS incompetent new mailing system, We've been approved since 5/06. I had to put in a service request on my case because my GC was produced but no where to be found, even an IO couldn't get me a tracking number. In fact I am not even expecting my GC in the mail anymore, each time I check my mail sure enough no sign of ever receiving it.

USCIS lost my card now they asking me to file I-90 and pay the fee to replace it, this is ridiculous. They can't even get me a tracking number for the mailing service to see if the card actually ever made it to my local postal office.

What should I do?

What should I do?

How do you know they lost your card? Is that what they told you?

My suggestion is, first of all, don't file the I-90 or pay any money. You should keep trying to get tracking information out the USCIS. On our notice, we were told the card would be mailed within 60 days, so if you got the same notice, you probably shouldn't be worried yet, as it's only been 37 days for you. (My wife hasn't received her card yet, either, and we've been waiting 31 days.) Once the time is up, if the USCIS is still not being helpful, you should contact your representative in congress.

03-20-2009: Married in San Diego (wife: F-1 visa and Chinese citizen, husband: US citizen)

03-29-2009: USCIS received AOS packet

04-03-2009: NOA1 issued

04-23-2009: Biometrics appointment

On June 13, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.
