Great! Ihope so bc the lady on DMV kep comparing my case with F1 visas which is tottaly different.. I tried to explain to her but not worth it.. once I get the stamp I'm calling her supervisor.. Wish me luck guys Im going there tomorrow!!!

The stamp they ought to give you is an I-551, which is equivalent to a green card. The DMV should accept that.

The stamp they ought to give you is an I-551, which is equivalent to a green card. The DMV should accept that.

The I-551 was accepted for a drivers license in North Carolina. If they give you a hard time ask for a superivisor.

I received my 10-year green card on Saturday, just 1 day before we moved out of our condo! I was so happy because I didn't want to worry about my card getting lost in the mail. Now I just have to report my change of address to USCIS. Good luck to the rest of you!

Champi, do you think you'll go in for an early bio appt?

We're likely not going to try early bio because I know Charlotte office is strict plus we don't want to take 1/2 day off from work and risk getting denied for early bio.
