You must have your green card with you as well.

They threw out my husband's green card at our last info pass appointment and stamped his passport. So he no longer has one.

We did our "early" biometrics today (scheduled date was 04/29). When they took the fingerprints, they said they had trouble getting clear prints - they tried multiple times but said that some of the lines were blurred. They threw out the possibility that the FBI might send them back and we might receive another biometrics appt in 2-3 weeks (which would really suck and delay the process). Not sure if something like this has happened to other folks.

They threw out my husband's green card at our last info pass appointment and stamped his passport. So he no longer has one.

The way the biometrics appointment notice is worded, it doesn't even sound like you need to bring a green card. That's just one of the photo IDs they will accept, but a driver's license or passport will also suffice. The wording is a little weird, though:

Applicants must bring their Permanent Resident Card/Resident Alien Card, or a passport, driver's license, national ID, military ID, or State-issued ID.

AOS:

03-20-2009: Married in San Diego (wife: F-1 visa and Chinese citizen, husband: US citizen)

03-29-2009: USCIS received AOS packet

04-03-2009: NOA1 issued

04-23-2009: Biometrics appointment

05-20-2009: EAD received

06-08-2009: Interview, approved

07-06-2009: GC received

ROC:

03-09-2011: I-751 and supporting documentation mailed to CSC via first class mail

03-14-2011: I-751 delivered (5 days to go 55 miles!)

Yea after one year trying to get a green card it was a little upsetting to see them throw it out so haphazardly. Anyway we completed our early biometrics today in Raleigh, NC. They never looked at the date or asked us why we came early. I sat in a waiting area while my husband completed his biometrics. This was our second trip there and again it was empty. It took about 30 mins and only because they had computer problems. I did see a security officer ask a woman with a crying baby to leave, but other then that everyone was very pleasant and helpful.

WOW! Congrats to all those with approvals!

Now we just need VSC to pick it up a little bit here....

Yea after one year trying to get a green card it was a little upsetting to see them throw it out so haphazardly. Anyway we completed our early biometrics today in Raleigh, NC. They never looked at the date or asked us why we came early. I sat in a waiting area while my husband completed his biometrics. This was our second trip there and again it was empty. It took about 30 mins and only because they had computer problems. I did see a security officer ask a woman with a crying baby to leave, but other then that everyone was very pleasant and helpful.

Glad they let you guys in this time!!!

The first trip was to get a stamp for the NOA1 we never received. We were never turned away.

2008-07-26 : I-130 Sent

2009-04-02 : Interview at Embassy in Lima, Peru Approved

2009-04-08 : POE Atlanta (256 days from sending I-130)

USCIS *Removal of Conditions*

2011-02-28 : Mailed I-751

2011-03-02 : USPS Delivery Confirmation

2011-03-10 : Check Cashed

2011-03-11 : Touched

2011-03-25 : USCIS confirmed they did not mail NOA 1, given case number

2011-04-05 : Infopass appointment passport stamped with I-551

2011-04-19 : Walk in Biometrics completed (2 weeks early)

2011-05-03 : Biometrics appointment (3 year anniversary)

2011-08-25 : Approved

2011-08-31 : Card in hand (184 days after sending I-751)

I guess I am the second to be on the approved list!

"On April 19, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you."

Also, I actually went on 3/25/11 for early bio.

Does anyone know what is the approximate time one should wait before making InfoPass for not getting biometrics appointment letter?

I'm probably being impatient and getting ahead of myself but I just want to be ready with next steps if something goes wrong.

09/11/2012 - Received a letter saying case transferred Lee's Summit, MO
02/15/2013 - Received an email saying case is approved
02/22/2013 - I-130 NOA2 hard copy received

03/11/2013 - NVC case # assigned
03/12/2013 - Petitioners' email corrected, Beneficiary's email added
