Hello to all the Vjers :P I will be visiting my fiance in the U.S after I sent my packet 3 stuff. Damn that some long stuff lol anyways :P

I know they say it will take to at least 4-6 weeks before receiving my interview package is that correct? has some waited longer? and inbetween sending packet 3 and waiting for the interview package is there any other steps done? or you just wait for them to revise that and send you answer and what next, with the whole medical and all.

Also, what adress do I send it too? Im confused lol my consulate is Montreal. Im on the usvisa site for the dhl, anyone can tell me more about it?

And also I did the online form, I printed out for me to keep one and one for the interview I read somewhere someone saying to be extra careful because its a new system and its not perfected yet lol.

I have done all the forms requested on packet 3, online, police certificate ect.

The doctor letter is that to send now for packet 3? or to bring at the medical? or interview?

And any advice for when I fly to the U.S all I need to bring to make sure, I get entry. I know I will but you never know whos there and all lol.

I like to stay updated and always learn something new better wiser thank you.

It says 4-6 weeks but it doesn't usually take near that long. Once you send packet 3 in you can wait a few days and start calling DOS to see if it has been logged. Once it is logged they send you packet 4.

I'm not sure what you mean by Dr's letter, but assuming you mean the medical you will have. You will take the package that the Dr gives you to the interview with you. The only thing that you send in packet 3 is the checklist and the forms. Everything else on the checklist goes with you to the interview.

Traveling to the US...Make sure that you bring proof of ties to Canada and a return ticket. There is no guarantee that you will be admitted but the more proof you have that you will return the better.
