Hi VJers. First of all thanks to everyone that takes the time to contribute and help people in this forum. I have been a looooong time lurker. The advice I have gotten here has helped me this far so I thought I should ask all the good people here about this before I kill myself with worry!

I had my CR1 interview in Dublin on Tuesday. Everything seemed to go well. I did not get a definite answer about the outcome. The CO just said you should be getting your documents in the post in the next week or two and I asked if the interview was over and he said yes. I was too tongue-tied to ask more questions. He did not tell me whether I was approved or not. I left the embassy before remembering that he did not ask me to sign Part 2 of the DS230 (the SSN application bit) and that has set alarm bells off in my head. Does this mean the application is denied?

Please advice, I am going bonkers with worry! :help:

No, it doesn't mean you are denied. If anything they may call you in to sign that before you can get your passport. Did they keep your passport? They don't keep passports unless they want to put something in it...like a visa

good luck

I would be willing to bet you are approved. The signing of the 2nd part of the DS-230 was done upon entering at Bogota. Are you sure you did not sign this part earlier at the embassy? If not I agree with previous post that you may be called to sign since it was just overlooked. An anticipated "Congrats" to you.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

Maybe not signing was just an oversight and you will be called to come back and sign. Keep your hopes up!
