I also didn't book my medical until I had packet 4 as the instructions are in it. I booked my interview first then called to book the medical to insure that it would be in plenty of time before hand.

BM, Yes, you can send off packet 3 before you get the hard copy. I called DOS several times to ask if Montreal had received my file from the NVC. (In my case, this took about 3 weeks). I sent pack

It was easy guys I was in and out in an hour.

They took me upstairs at 8 which is when they start the processing, I was first and walking out the door by 9.

Plus the guy who interviewed me was really really nice.

So don't be nervous!!

I-134 Affidavit of Support and it's supporting material are required for the interview. I-864 is for AOS.

US citizen since April 2016

ROC completed April 2014

AOS from K1 completed February 2012

Teday it seems like the visas take about a week to arrive on average. Never know though. :blink:

Hey guys! How long are people waiting for their K1 visas to arrive after the interview?

On the letter they give you after the interview, it says it could take 2 weeks. From what I've seen on VJ, most people get it in about a week.

Sent out my Packet 3 on the 29th and first phone call into the DoS today. (not logged yet)... and so it begins! Living at mom's until this process is over. Who woulda thunk at 47 years old I'd be back here! Patience...I keep telling myself lol
