This kind of makes sense though. Those are the numbers as of February 14, which was one week after they supposedly implemented this "rapid response plan". That gives them two weeks from that last update to their deadline of February 28, so if they keep working at the same rate, they theoretically should be able to meet that deadline. Let's just hope they do.

What makes me mad is that thinking about how our cases were just sitting there collecting dust for months and months when we can see now that they actually have the capacity to process almost 15,000 cases in one week (when they really want to). Even at a quarter of that rate, we all could have been done in like two months. We never should have been transferred!

The numbers that they have listed don't really tell the whole story. By rough estimates I would guess they had about 6000 cases approved prior to February. That means that only 10,000 cases have been handled, since the beginning of Feb/announcement. Then you have to question if they are working overtime or extra hours, which would not be normal capacity for them. And then you have to take into account how many have been handled at CSC. Getting the remaining cases done in the next two weeks I feel is a stretch for them at best. I think it really comes down to how many were transferred to CSC, if they can do it or not.

That's true. Just trying to remain optimistic for everyone still waiting for their approvals. Also, I realize that this is not their normal capacity and that they're really pooling all of their resources now, but I think they will continue to do so until almost all of these petitions are taken care of.

And speaking of numbers, have the processing numbers for December come out yet? I think they are usually posted on the 15th, but I'm not sure where to find them. I'd love to see how many cases TSC actually completed in December.

If any of you are still hitting a brick wall with USCIS and your elected officials acting (or lack thereof) on your behalf, take advantage of Twitter and FaceBook. I got a call from my Congressman's office this morning which was triggered my by "Tweets" and Facebook post last evening. Be aggressive, just state the facts.

Got another call from the Congressman's Aide, he called NVC and they said they still have not received our package yet. They will push it through to the embassy once they get it.

If you have justification, it helps to be a pain in the #######.........
