Hello Lara. It's going slow.. we just finished gathering all of her civil documents for the IV packet. It is a real pain in the butt getting some of the documents in Brazil. I already sent (and NVC received) the I-864. The wife is sending the IV packet to me today or tomorrow... hopefully it wont take too long. Great news on sending your last packet. Hopefully they process it soon.

sorry to hear that , but soon you gonna have those paper and finish with this process . I call to NVC this morning , my AOS package going to be there for tomorrow, and i ask then how long they take to complete, she told me is between 15 to 25 days let see. if is a true.

Hopefully not but, who knows.... They received my AOS packet on the 10th and still haven't entered it into their system. The wife sent all of the IV documents today; should be here in about 6 days or so. I can hardly wait. in the meantime... I've sent several emails to "SUPERVISOR SUE" regarding an expedite. After two weeks there was still no response so I sent it again 3 days ago.... still nada. It's okay though.... I'm going to send the email EVERY SINGLE DAY until I at least get a "boilerplate" email

Hey all, nice to be back, and it's going to take a while to catch up on what's been happening to you all! Thanks for all your kind words. Val & I had an enchanting time together in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The weather was cloudless, spring was upon us, and for a short period, all was well with the world. We're not particularly religious, but we took Holy communion in St. David's Cathedral and prayed for all of us going through this turmoil.

Mr. Badger was true to his word, and arranged for us to be expedited through London - and then the trouble started again. I applied for my UK police certificate in good time - at the end of January. The plan was, for Val to take all my documents back with her for our lawyer to send to NVC - job done.

However, my Police Cert, got LOST, and we had to apply for another. No worries we thought, Val can still take it back.

Mmm - the day that Val flew home, my Police Cert came - just 6 hours AFTER Val had flown. I rushed across to the Post Office - no time to got to UPS or Fed Ex which was 20 miles away, and mailed it on a 3 to 4 day service.

EIGHT days went by, and it FINALLY arrived at our lawyers yesterday -two whole weeks delayed - shades of TSC all over again!

Hopefully, the lawyer will get everything off to NVC TODAY!

Anyhow, congrats to all those who have made it through, and we'll be around now things are sorted!good.gifgood.gif

Thanks Lidia, and you and your hubby are beautiful too. Many, many good wishes to you two, and we're all hanging on in there. It will take us a day or two to get up to speed on how everyone is doing. We went back into a bit of a depression with the Police Cert delay, but we're OK now.good.gif

Hi Lara,

I'm sending the AOS and IV packets tomorrow. We were held up waiting for the documents to arrive in the mail.

Just wondering if you did send the divorce decree?? Thanks!

hi ezzie, in the last moment i called and the operator told me , they only need my daughter papers, she said if i thinks im gonna need that for the interview then please to take one original with me but do not send that to nvc , only my baby document , so i did it like that. but i have the original and im gonna take it for the interview for sure.
