Hi Vj family, something happended yesterday with our petition, my husband got a letter saying that our petition is approved, however in the system it is still in acceptance and we never got any email notifiying the approval, any one with the same issue?

I am happy but I dont want to have false expectations :S

Grats! The USCIS system has been wonky for all TSC refugees. If your husband got an NOA2, then you're approved ;)

Does the following mean an acceptance only or does it mean an acceptance and that it was shipped to the NVC?

Guess I wondering if you get another status update once the case ships...

On February 23, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

Ok, thanks! What address do I put on the I-864 for my spouse? My address here in the states since I'm his agent now or his address in the Bahamas?

If it's asking information about the immigrant, then it's their foreign address. If it's asking information about the petitioner, then it's the US address.

The only thing that changes in becoming an agent is that you receive mail from NVC instead of the beneficiary. It doesn't change anything else, like filling out forms.

What did they when they updated your case? Was it transferred and being processed at USCIS office? Or something else.

Just got an update on my case dated 02/25 (today). I'm glad to know they didn't loose my case. Hopefully tonight I'll see some adjudication action

Are you at Initial Review? Besides the touch, what did they write?

Just a touch. If they actually came to a result it should be updated this evening.
