Actually the letter from the employer is required. If thats what you ment.

No Bella was asking about the Authorization for Federatl Tax Data which must be completed and returned along with the I-864 so they can validate ones federal tax return information.

Authorization od tax date has to be completed and sent with the I-864. That way, they can verify your tax information, if they want to.

It is better to send a letter from your employer and a recent pay stub so that they (NVC) are clear on everything. The letter should mention your joing date, your job functions briefly, title, and current income. According to the NVC description, sending a letter from the employer would suffice it. But I would send both (a letter from the employer and a recent pay stub).

Sorry, I made couple typos. I meant, "authorization of tax data has to be completed and send with the I-864."

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
