My wife will have interview next week in MTL and i wonder that what kind of question they will asked in the interview in general? This will help us a lot to prepare for? What do we need to prepare for the medical and interview?

The questions are generally based on the relationship and personal life of you 2. The medical examination instructions should be included in the interview letter, where the take the exam and what to do after that.

They'll ask questions such as where and when you met

how you met, how long you been married, when did your

relationship becomes serious,who was in attendance

at the wedding, they'll ask for proof of relationship

where do you resides, how long you live there, how much

each each of you earn, where each of you work.ECT.

so just be prepared, and stay calm and focus at your interview.

be polite but not too overly interactive.

At the TOP of the page you will see Reviews: Embassy/USCIS & POE------click on that!! In the pulld own window for consulate select CANADA!! then read the reviews on MONTREAL cr-1!!

OR in ther VJ search engine--type in montreal interview, Montreal cr-1, etc--you should get plenty of hits!

Normally very quick and dirty!! 10 min if ur lucky! How u met?? what are u plans for employment in the USA? what ur spouse does for work in the USA?

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
