Ours arrived on Feb. 14th, so yup, same stage, just waiting, waiting, waiting now. On one had, I am slightly envious of those that are getting their acceptances already (for jan/feb), that would be a bit too soon for us, still things to take care of on each side of the border still. May or June would be great

Yep, I'm in initial review as well... petition arrived on Feb 14th... received e-mail and sms notification but still awaiting NOA1 hardcopy.

Jess&Tim ~ I'm with you.. hoping!! That would be incredible My current roommate is driving me UP THE WALL, I cannot wait to be with my boo instead! Yes, he's not the most tidy man but he has sanitation, cleanliness, and hygeine standards and isn't a pig, unlike my current living sitauation.. Okay, off topic - mini vent over, back to waiting

I know there was one who got approved in Canada too! Same here we're still saving some money, so I'm not really in a rush to this whole thing. I just hope it won't take forever. But you know we always have to think about the possibilities, it can happen it cannot......should I be scared then?

No no! Don't be scared! I think...I mean I know it's not a given, but if you filled out everything, and are upfront and it's all legit, just be positive I really hope it all comes by the summer, I have told my current work around that date I hope, so it would be a bit crappy if it wasn't. They would understand, I just don't want to mess anything up.

Yeah I know what you mean...as for me haven't told anybody from my work wanted it to be a surprised Yeah, I'm also hoping to be back there this summer so we can do a lot of fun stuff together. Last time it was winter and weather is so crapy to have go out and have a date. Are you intending to have your wedding on summer? At least it's only few hours a day, compared to me I have to miss a whole day sitting in the plane

yeah, I know lucky, lucky. I was kindda in a shock when I saw it on Igor's timeline..I also felt kindda pressured coz I've been a lil bit lax from being proactive researching on the next steps. It actually gave me a wake up call to get back on track and start reading again...yay!!!!

how about you guys what have you been up to with this process? aside from checking USCIS online every two hours

As lucky as it would be to be approved very soon, Im completely not ready for the next step! The docs needed for the embassy is different for every consulate so its hard to find information about exactly what you'll need to bring. Hmmm
