I have a friend who actually wants to co-sponsor with me to get my fiance here on a K-1 visa. She is filing bankruptcy, going through a divorce etc. Bankruptcy is her only way out of her situation.

My question is, when she files bankruptcy, can she still co-sponsor with me? Will this be a problem? Or should we wait until her case is finalized?

Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thank you :thumbs:
