Freezing here in East Houston! Omgosh I love this weather! Went with my sister and her 5yr old daughter to the nail salon to get our manis/pedi before she and her hubby go to India. My 5yr old neice saw the pink butterfly chair and that was her seat to get her nails painted in! She loved it! She was the princess!

Got home and started cooking dinner for Adam since he's at work and burned a finger pretty bad. Didnt realize I didnt have the pot holder on the part of the dish that I grabbed with my 4th finger and got it burned pretty darn bad. Thankfully its not a finger I'm going to be using alot at work so I'll keep it bandaged up. Other than that, all is well. Adam is doing great at work, his family is still ok in Egypt, and everything is fine over here. Hope everyone has a great week!

Awww, I am so sorry that you hurt your finger but very glad that everything else is going good with you two. Especially that the fam is good in Egypt.

I came home to find Adam mowing the lawn with a push mower we recently bought. This was his first time ever to use a push mower. I give him a thumbs up for getting the job done even though he didnt go in any particular order. But hey, Jobs done!

Happy Hump Day All!!!

So tomorrow is our one year anniversary since we filed our I-130. Can't wait to get the long waited NOA2. 12 whole months of waiting, 6 in CSC and 6 in OPFO of nothing, now the saga continues in VSC. Inshallah VSC will come through for us.

Adams grandmother had a heart attack yesterday and she had to have immediate surgery today at 1pm their time. I just heard from his sister that she is done with surgery and is ok. We just found out about her heart attack around 2am and Adam was so upset. I hope she stays ok and does fine.

Wow a year is alot. Too long for me. If this stupid process wasnt so long I would have had about 7 round way tickets save in the bank. But nothing is better than seeing my hubby.

TGIF!!!!!!!

Its a good Friday too.

Today I received a thick package back from VCS. I was so nervous to see what it was. No worries. It was just the original photo album we sent with our application. Notice stated original documents returned as they are no longer needed. Its not our file being sent back.

Soooooo happy someone its working on our file since it sat for 6 full months in CSC and another 6 months in Florida for nothing.

Thank you VCS for a climpse of hope.

Inshallah, NOA2 coming soon.

Adams grandmother is out of the hospital but now her liver is failing. I hope she gets better, but in her mid 80s, I dont think it will happen. If she passes, we will need to see if his mother will live in Cairo with his sister and her husband or if we will get her to visit here and then possibly live here at some point. Something we will have to start thinking about. His father died in 06, his grandfather died in 07 and he has no brothers so its basically going to be on us to take care of his mom.
