Income Tax copy from H&R block, is this good evidence?

Hi! I need some help again.

I am filing up all the evidence we need for my I751 and we have tax copy from H&R and block. How is this different from the IRS copy? Will this be good enough? Has anybody tried submitting H&R copy and not having any problems? Thanks!

you can send in copies of your h and r block tax returns, for the removal of conditions they want 3 years tex returns, tax transcripts are better,what ever you chose

Why not get the IRS tax transcripts? http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=110571,00.html I filled in the form and faxed it. They arrived in less than a week (they say 5-10 days). They might not accept something from some tax preparer.

BTW - i needed mine for the I-864.

I ordered tax transcripts as well and had them within the week. Very easily done by calling (800)908-9946.

What if at the time of filing (July 2011) we only have two years of jointly filed tax returns (2009 & 2010)? Do I still include the third year's return from before she immigrated?

Two years is fine. It does not state on the I-751 petition instructions that 3 years are required, merely records showing co-mingling of finances for the duration of your marriage to date.

Transcripts are free but if you want an IRS copy of the entire return there is a hefty cost. Transcripts are sufficient for ROC. We ordered the tax "account" transcripts because they showed any changes made due to amendments, are free and arrived in a week.

I sent 2008 and 2009 tax account trascripts. For 2010, since we filed a week before sending I-751 package, we just sent copy of our tax-return (without w2 and stuff).

Someone mentioned that if you send copy of tax return, you should also send w2 and other documents.

However, like other has mentioned, tax transcripts are easy, official, and no risk of unintentionally leaving out any documents (like I did by leaving out w2 and other stuff).
