Hello All, we have another question about the Fiance Visa. My Fiance has been annulled for a couple of years now. Has anyone run into a problem with approvals with Fiance Visa's when your Fiance has been annulled? My Fiance also has 3 children whom will not be joining us right away. Two of them are in college and 1 is in his 3rd year of High School. There father wants them to finish school in the philippines. Will any of this pose a problem with visa acceptance? What kind of questions might be asked of my fiance when she goes to her interview about her annulment or leaving her children in the philippines to finish their schooling?

Thanks Again

Chris and Ana

Thanks for your input and congratulations on getting your NAO2 and interview so quickly. We filed in mid sept. to the california service center and still have not heard from them on the NAO2 status.

You should be ok as long as annulment papers are ready to be presented :D

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Thank you, VJ! smile.png

Thank you for the reply and the words of encouragement.

Just wondering how they will react if they read my Finalization of my annulment.

Especially if they see the reason Psychological Incapacitated and knowing my X is the one who filed the annulment because I cant help him during the time we want the annulment materialize ( I have monetary problem that time). Well, as you know most of the annulment here in the Philippines is can be arrange (pre-paid) of course the other should "look so bad" so that it can be believable.

So this one thing makes me disturb most of the time.

Anyone here have the same experience like mine?

Can share it to me. or Pm me.

Any replies I will greatly appreciated

THANK YOU.
