Yes I know I paid like 5.60 and told me it would take 2-3 days. Not at home to loook at the receipt but I choose the cheapest option since I was in no rush.

Hope this helped.

Thanks for your help

There are two options. The cheapest one where they just drop it in the mailbox or the other one- the one I used-that requires proof of signature where they keep it in the post office and drop the notice in the mailbox so that someone has to show up at the post office window sign and pick it up. I paid about 7.60. Are you able to verify if someone indeed sign it?

Will be the day that the USCIS sends you a reply via priority mail and without that letter, you are helpless. Just send everything to them via first class mail. Couldn't believe the DOS sent her certificate back via first class mail with not even a do not fold on that large envelop. We even had overnight applications misplaced and I feel, making them sign for it, pisses them off.

Received by the USCIS even though the status status still has not changed.

The above application was has been received and is in process.Upon receipt of all required Record checks, you will be scheduled to appear for an interview at your local USCIS field office.

Moral: Never send signature confirmation Priority mail to the USCIS. You pay extra money and buy yourself unnecessary stress.
