Im late! CONGRATS, SAYLIN!!! We should be holding a welcome party for you here in the U.S.!

As for me, I've paid the IV bill 3/07 but can't send off the docs yet, as I'm still waiting for the Police Clearance. Didn't notice it expired end of Feb ( Texas made us hostages for a long time)...

Thanks! I wouldn't mind a welcome party! laughing.gif I'll be driving to South Dakota, meet me there :P

How long will it take to get another PCC? Sucks yours expires. For Canada, we have a one year validity period. I got mine back in December, near our 4 month mark at USCIS, so I'll be fine for the interview.

I'm sorry Erick but i don't think you're right

please read the forms instructions http://www.uscis.gov...i-864ainstr.pdf "who may be considered a household member"

1. this person must be related to you as a spouse (which is unlikely since your spouse is the immigrant), adult child, parent or sibling in the same house

OR

2. a relative that you claimed on your taxes even if you don't share the same address

OR

3. the immigrant (your spouse)

so unless you claimed your uncle or cousin on your taxes they must fill out an i864 (NOT A)

just because two adults that are blood related live in the same household doesn't make them tax related. Only immediate family is tax family lol.

err... that's what I said LOL. Basically, you have to be able to include their income on your taxes. BUT.... I have no way of knowing if he is claiming his uncle or cousing as a dependant or not.... either way.... the answer is I-864. I copied and pasted directly from the instruction.

Question... On the DS-230, block 22 asks for the father's current address. His address is unknown... should she put "UNKNOWN" in the block, or use her sister's address (which was his last known address)?

Hmm, I think either answer would be okay with NVC. I dunno if they even do anything with the father's address. It might be better to put the sister's address though, just so NVC doesn't see an "UNKNOWN" answer.

For my husband's employment letter, we didn't put an address to NVC. The only address on our employment letter was at the top right and that was my husband's work address.
