Hello Everyone, I am really happy.!!!!!!! I finally got the Application Processing (IV) bill....Happy to pay the $404.....

I think NVC has been pretty quick....

I paid the Affidavit on 2/25 and it showed paid on 2/28

The DS3032 was sent via emal on 2/25 and approved today 3/4

IV Bill paid today, lets see how long it takes....hopefully by monday.....

All I need is for the IV bill to show as paid, so I can send both packages together... I have everything ready.............

Wishing all the same !!!!!!!!!!!

HaHaHa............................15 minutes after posting the above, my wife calls and tell me the Embassy called her!!!

She has her interview on March 18th at 7 AM, WoooooHoooooo She is so excited, I had to tell her to slow down because I had no idea what she was saying. She said they have sent her an email as well so i logged into her account and there were three, one for Packet 3, one for Packet 4 and the important one:

Dear Applicant:

Bangkok's Immigrant Visa (IV) Unit is ready to begin final processing of the immigrant visa applicant(s) named below in this case. We have scheduled an appointment for a visa interview at the Immigrant Visa section on the date printed below.

Visa Appointment

Date Time

*****************************

18 Mar 2011 7:00AM

Please read and follow very carefully all of the Appointment Instructions located on the Embassy's web site at:

http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visas/iv_packet4.html

Please pay close attention to the Instructions for Medical Examination required for all intending immigrants and evidence of relationship. Submission of incomplete documents will delay your visa processing. When communicating with this office, please provide your name and case number exactly as shown in this letter.

Upon arrival at the Embassy, the applicant MUST present this e-mail to the receptionist and proceed to Window number 5. Those members of the applicant's family, listed below, must appear at the Embassy on the above appointment date. If the applicant cannot keep the appointment, please notify the Embassy at visasbkk@state.gov"]visasbkk@state.gov[/email] as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

Immigrant Visa Unit

Ref.C

---------------------------------------

Now I have to package the remaining paperwork from my end, review the link that they sent her in an email for the documents that she need to download, print and fill out. I'll have to overnight documents this weekend to Thailand........

I am going to hold off paying NVC for now, looks like I'll have to pay via the Embassy or it will be "overlooked"..................hmmmmmmmm, that would be nice.

Are they really going to be home in a few weeks???

Grats Wade! kicking.gif You'll have your family home by the end of the month!! Sooooo happy for you!

It has been 15 days since my NOA2, my case is "in the building" but I still don't have an NVC number. After being told to wait 15 days they just tell me to wait "another week, another 2 weeks, etc.". I feel like I'm back at the Texas Service Center. Is there anything I can do? Or do I just have to wait it out like TSC?

Thanks for any help, kind regards

There's still a lot of people that got approved before you that are still waiting for a case number as well. You can check the spreadsheet to see. Unfortunately, yes, I think you're just going to have to wait until the case gets inputted into their system. Keep calling NVC twice a day.

I believe that peoples approved by CSC get the NVC# fast and the ones from TSC usually get their NVC# a little bit later. After NVC# all the peoples are in the same timeline at NVC. Just my opinion based on what I saw during this 8 months.

It so nice being at NVC now... once things start moving at all, they move quickly!

AOS fee: Invoiced on 2/28 and paid on the same day, showed as "paid" on 3/1 (the next day)

IV fee: Husband emailed DS-3032 on Monday 2/28, received acceptance email on Thursday 3/3 (early in the morning, at about 6:30am PST), and IV fee bill was invoiced that same night at 11:20pm PST (my husband and I both got emails that it was invoiced). I paid it last night, and when that shows as paid (early next week?), I'm just going to send both the AOS and IV packages together. Woo!

As happy as I am for those who have begun their NVC journey, looking at my own thread is making me depressed...I think I will take a short break from VJ to hold onto the sanity I have left. Hopefully next week will have better news for me.

Do not give up, just send them an email at nvcinquiry@state.gov, and ask them about your case. Putt USCIS number on subject and below the following:

Subject: WACXXXXXXXX-NAME OF BENEFICIARY or applicant

CIS Case No: WACXXXXXXXX

Petitioner's Name: XXXXXXX

Petitioner's Date of Birth:XXXXXXX

Beneficiary's Name: XXXXXX

Beneficiary's Date of Birth: XXXXXX

And then ask about your case, and why is taking so long.

Good luck with that. Fingers crossed.

Our case was approved on 17 Feb by CSC, and have already payed the AOS invoice. Hang in there and keep calling AVR to see if your case number is assigned and then go to an operator and give them emails address and ask for IIN. After you will have the IIN you can send the COA email appointing your agent for further processing.

Good luck. You should hear the good news very soon.

Yea just waiting and preparing the packages.thanks, without VJ it would have been a mess.

Looks like I (my wife) will pay the $404 at the Embassy but no mention of paying the $88 AOS in any of the documents provided by the Embassy. Read the Packet III & IV two times and did not see it. Fortunately, my insurance will cover her physical.........too bad that wasn't the case when my son was in a remote hospital multiple times.

Since you're working with an embassy abroad, you won't have to pay the $88 fee. Read the section 'filing fee' here for the I-864: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=b70f8875d714d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD The $88 bill is only for those that didn't get expedited and the AOS is reviewed at NVC.
