I know I'm at the tail end of the transfer NOA1 dates, so I haven't asked for one yet.

Looking at my spreadsheet, there have been 11 expedites from the TSC group. Some weren't only for the USCIS error, but had financial hardships and medical reasons as well. You can always try to expedite as well. It won't hurt to try. Good luck either way!

I don't think so. NVC is pretty fast compared to USCIS. If everyhting goes smoothly the process only takes about a month. I'm taking my time with sending responses cause I am trying to time my wife's interview date for the first week of July since I will be taking 2 weeks off at that time so that I can join her for it. Most of the responses from NVC for packets or RFEs are taking a day or two shy of 2 weeks at this moment.

edit: What I meant was most of the CCs are not from expedites :)

Hi guys..I finally get to catch up with you and see that a lot of the our fellow TSC refugees have CC's. Congrats, and may God be with you on your interviews. Almost done!! I am soo happy for you, guys!!

As for us, we request that you include us in your prayers, as well...(Where else can I vent but with those I have struggled in TSC with??..)

We are still waiting for SIF and CC, but we are not in a rush, as I have been having difficulties with the Dad of my children, who refuses to sign the Affidavit allowing the kids to come here, when all he does is provide for their finances and is not really there for moral guidance ( he leaves the children with the caretakers and takes off). Cant do court case, as it will take years and drain our finances..so for now we can only hope and pray..

I hope when the interview sched comes, we have already come up with the affidavit..

Sorry for venting..I know its a happy time for most of you, and I know there will be people here who will still include us in their prayers. I so miss the children.

How are you, Lara? I hope the best for you and your baby as well..

Do I need to be interviewed also at the POE? I wasn't planning on making another trip just for that. $$$$$$$

thanks everyone, wish you all the very best at your interview!!! I will be back with many more congrats once you all are done! To Val: Gary will be fine, hes from the UK and not Colombia lol. Just tell him to try to remain calm and be overly excited to be in that small immigration room no matter if he is tired! We were told that we werent happy enough so that raised suspicions...supposedly the officer has seen thousands of people just like us and all of them were so excited and happy, and of course not shaking. I guess he didnt listen to the part that my wife told him about getting up at 3 am and dragging 5 suitcases down 6 floors because the elevator wasnt working. If you get CO Thompson, tell him that I have my doubts about his marriage

Everyone will be   soon

You don't need to be there for POE; there is no other interview. Sometimes the beneficiary just has to answer a few questions when giving over the paperwork.
