Just got an email from NVC! Interview date is May 3 @ 2 pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just got 16th of May :dance:

Congratulations to all :D

Erick, interestingly our expedite request is denied so not sure

expedite or the embassy is more important in getting an earlier date.

2010 Aug 4 -- NOA 1

2010 Aug 9 -- NOA 1 Hardcopy

2010 Nov 2 -- Transferred from CSC to TSC

2010 Nov 24--Touched

2011 Feb 9 -- Touched

2011 Feb 10--Transferred BACK to CSC *rolls eyes*

2011 Feb 11-- Touched AGAIN (uscis office)

2011 Feb 25--email notification of APPROVAL!!!! (Thank ya Jesus)

2011 Mar 3--NOA2 Hardcopy

Your I-130 was approved in 205 days from your NOA1 date.

2011 Mar 8--received case # dated Mar 7, sent OPTIN email for electronic processing with attached DS-3032 form.

2011 Mar 9--received IIN and Beneficiary ID #, AOS bill invoiced/paid, submitted DS-261 (Choice of Agent)

2011 Mar 11--AOS bill shows as PAID and IV bill invoiced

2011 Mar 14--paid IV bill

2011 Mar 16-- IV bill shows as PAID

2011 Apr 11--submitted AOS and IV package and resent OPTIN email

What is a Priority Date?

Don't worry about it. That's only for those applying for visas that have a limited number given out per year. For IR-1/CR-1 visas, there's an unlimited number, so priority dates don't matter to us.

NOA2 : Feb 15, 2011

NVC:

2/25/11 - received case number, IIN, and gave e-mail IDs.

2/25/11 - Send DS-3032 E-mail

2/28/11 - I-864 (AOS) bill invoiced and paid

3/01/11 - AOS payment status "PAID"

3/02/11 - DS-3032 : Email accepted

3/04/11 - IV bill invoiced (e-mail at 2:30 AM) and paid

3/07/11 - IV payment status "PAID"

3/08/11 - AOS and IV packet sent

3/22/11 - AOS in the system and reviewed that triggered false RFE for IV packet

3/28/11 - DS-230 in the system and SIF

3/29/11 - Case Completed at NVC

4/13/11 - Interview date assigned

5/17/11 - Interview- Approved

5/18/11 - Passport & Visa Picked up from VFS Delhi

5/31/11 - POE (JFK)

May 31 interview date. 2 days after my birthday. Congrats to all that got the interview date. We are a little bit disappointed because of this date but the most important is to be together with my wife. :)

CONGRATS!!!! Almost Party time lol. Actually, I was surprised that we were able to get an interview date that was only 49 days away. Brazil is normally 4-7 months. Congrats again. :dance:

i wonder how long does it take for our case complete... we submitted both aos&IV pack last March 24 .. but forgot to send the form i864.. so my husband sent the i864 a week ago... hmmm... :whistle:

USCIS:

07/21/2010 - NOA1

02/07/2011 - NOA2 approved! 201 days since NOA1!!!

02/14/2011 - NOA2 HARDCOPY RECEIVED

NVC:

02/15/2011 - NVC case number assigned

02/16/2011 - emailed ds3032 to nvc

02/17/2011 - gave both our email address.

02/18/2011 - DS3032 accepted.

03/15/2011 - AOS & IV paid. both "IN PROCESS"

03/16/2011 - AOS & IV show's "PAID"

03/24/2011 - Mailed AOS & IV pack to nvc

04/13/19/2011 - received an RFE email from NVC about my ds-230 and AOS form =/

04/22/2011 - (ds230 & Aos)Checklist sent to nvc

05/04/2011 - Sign In Failed!!! :)

05/16/2011 - Interview Scheduled!

We got some good news on the AVR this morning...

"Your completed case was forwarded to the London consulate on 11th April 2011. (Yesterday). Please contact the consulate for any further questions".

So, my dear VJers, does that mean that our case LEFT the NVC yesterday, or does it mean they ordered the shipment from DHL for today? I can find no record of anything being shipped yesterday with it being Monday.

I want to track this, and would love to know when London has or will receive it.

Any ideas...anyone?:thumbs:
